Brews With Attitude - Craft Beer Fest

Tampa's craft beer scene has been exploding the past few years. 

And ever since it started, my family and I (the adults) have been supporters of these microbreweries around town and even did a Tampa Brew Tour last June. It was a birthday celebration / parents day out and we had so much fun! I highly recommend it if you are a craft beer lover or just want to ride around in a limo and learn about the breweries around Tampa.

Another exciting event celebrating our local breweries along with many others around the U.S. is happening in Tampa! 

Next week is American Craft Beer Week and we are celebrating at the 5th annual Brews with Attitude!

When: Tuesday, May 12th, 6-10 pm

Where: TPepin's Hospitality Center

Admission: $38.00 

Admission includes unlimited samples using the official Brews With Attitude tasting cup.

There will be over 100 craft beers and ciders to sample, food from Tampa's favorite food trucks, live entertainment, and more!

The Brewery List includes some of my favorites: Tampa Bay Brewing Company, Cigar City Brewing Company, Florida Aventue Brewing Company, 3Daughters Brewing, Sweetwater Brewing Company.

February FUN in Tampa

As opposed to making weekly posts about things going on around Tampa Bay, I've decided to make this a Monthly doing. I’m sorry if you absolutely died when I stopped posting “Weekly Funsies”.  ;) I like to think that some people actually looked forward to those posts and were a key factor in making your weekend plans. One can dream.

Florida State Fair - Feb 5th through 16th - Discover the fun this year with tons of entertainment, family traditions, upgraded midway, animals, and let's not forget about the food!

Family Day at Tampa Museum of Art – Feb 8th. 11 am-5 pm -  This 5 year birthday event includes live entertainment, parade, and birthday cake!

Glazer Museum's Little Sweethearts Dance - Feb 13th. 6 pm-8 pm -  Dance the night away with your little sweetheart! Purchase tickets. 

Jr. Gasparilla Distance Classic - Feb 14th. 8:30 am- Noon - Let your little ones (ages 2-10 years) participate in the annual Gasparilla Races! Register

Annie at the Straz Center - Feb 17th though 22nd - Leapin' Lizards! 

Florida Strawberry Festival - Feb 26th - March 8th  - Agriculture, entertainment, parades, fair food and games, and the best Strawberry shortcake you will ever have await you!

Tickets for Bern’s Winefest go on sale Saturday, Feb 7th at bernswinefest.com. Get these tickets pronto if you are even thinking about going, or you will be put on the dreaded waiting list. Last year they sold out in FIVE days. The WineFest is April 16-20. 

Clearwater Uncorked - Feb 7th & 8th - "The most anticipated beachfront foodie event of the year!"

Seminole Heights Sunday Morning Market - Feb 8th. 10 am-2 pm - Support over 100 vendors from the Tampa area!

Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ Festival - Feb 14th. Noon - 6 pm- I think the title speaks for itself.

Tampa Downtown Market - Feb 22nd. 10 am - 3 pm. - Located at the plaza next to Curtis Hixon

Gaspatilla Distance Classic - Feb 21st & 22nd - Online registration is still open! Get a spot to run your choice of race from a 5k to half marathon!

8 on Your Side Health & Fitness Expo - Feb 20th & 21st - This expo is free and open to the public!

Healthy Family Fair - Feb 28th - Explore Glazer Children's Museum and visit different exhibitors all there to help you learn more about complex world of health!
