Layered Smoothie

I usually only make smoothies on the weekends. Since we food prep for our meals during the week and try to eat up all the fresh produce we can (so it doesn't go bad), smoothies don't really fit into the weekly eats for us. Also, if we know we're going to be eating a big dinner out at a restaurant, we'll have a large and in charge smoothie for lunch to fill us up.
Look at this lusciously-layered smoothie!! It's a new form of art...

How it's made:

Blueberry bliss (Bottom) : ½ cup frozen blueberries, ½ frozen banana, and ½ cup almond milk

Vanilla Spinach (Middle):  1 cup spinach, ½ frozen banana, ½ cup almond milk, 1 scoop JP Vanilla complete powder

Strawberry Banana (Top) : ½ frozen banana, ½ cup frozen strawberries, ½ cup almond milk

**When making a layered smoothie, put the glass in the freezer between each layer to keep the layers separated.

**If your fruit isn't frozen, add lots of ice. Adding ice will also up the size of the smoothie so, this recipe made 2 smoothies (his & hers).

**And as always, when pouring a smoothie, over fill the cup...because it's cool
